why in q. no. 34 stopping potential is written as product of k with square of e then divided by 2d

dear divyansh, at first stopping potential energy is equated to its kinetic energy. thereafter coulambian force ke^2/r^2 is equated to its centripetal accelaration . the mysterious factor 2 in the denominator is coming from the kinetic energy of an ejected electron which is not explained clearly in the solution.

sir in quest. 8 why force = 2* (power/c) rather than f= power/c

Rate of change of momentum = Power/C
F*d= W
W/T=P
F*D/T=P
F*V=p
F=P/V
now this if force for every foton but there is another foton ast same distance from horicontal axis of lens which needs to be calculated.
thus we use 2F

Change in momentum is twice of initial momentum

dear,
here 70% are absorbed
and 30% are reflected
hence we have 7/10 and 3/10
but as explained in 8th Q we can have two photons for same distance from center thus multiply by two.

Sir in ques. 10, area if sphere is taken to be pi r^2 instead of 4pi r^2....
Why is that so?

Cause i think as the appreture is large so instead of covering whole sphere it will only cover a specific curve(circle)

In ques 7th the force due to reflected light is taken in consideration but in 8th it is not. Whats the reason ??

sir,
I think in q.31 electric field due to charged plate should be (Q/2*A*E)
not (Q/A*E). As it is field due to a single charged plate and not charged surface or two charged plates. Please, remove my confusion ,if any????
