AVERAGE Average is also known as arithmetic mean. Mean is the number that represents the central tendency of the data. Mean = (Sum of all observations)/(Total number of observations) RANGE The difference between the highest and the lowest observation is called the range. MODE The mode is the set of observation that occurs the most. MEDIAN It is the value that lies in the middle of the data. CHANCE AND PROBABILITY Chance is the possibility of an event happening. Probability is the measure of chance. For example, the probability of getting 3 in a die throw is 1/6. As there is a possibility of 6 numbers thrown and 3 is one of those numbers.
